“I got Good Morning by Yasujiro Ozu. This is recommended to me by you. There's a poster outside. Apparently it's a fart movie from Japan in 1959. That's its own genre, fart movies.”

“Yeah, yeah, I got the Yojimbo. Never actually seen this. I heard it's good, so kind of bag.”

“I'm picking up Frances Ha because, you know, Greta is the GOAT.”

“I got the Beastie Boys, and that's maybe the only thing I recognize in these, Beastie Boys. I mean, "Sabotage" is a classic video, so they have commentary on about it and excited to check this out.”

“I'm picking up Some Like It Hot because we watched it in my queer cinema studies class.”

“Oh my god, that scared me. I just got Rosemary's Baby because they shot it at the Dakota in New York, and I'm very sleepy.”

“Night of the Living Dead. Oh nice. Remember doing a piece for Complex about, for blackness, you know, of all the black people that survived in a horror movie, and this brother's, I think I'm correct, he didn't die in the climax. He got shot right when the credits rolled, but I think this brother didn't die.”

“We only get one, right? Only one? Okay, okay. I like that. Sunday Bloody Sunday.”

“I just picked the Pan's Labyrinth. This is, that's a great movie. A big fan of his other one about the fish.”

“Oh my god, Crumb! Wait, where is that? It's right here. Okay, all right, I'm gonna take Crumb. This is one of the most fucked up movies I've ever seen. Yes, David Lynch is involved in this. Okay, so my friend told me to watch Crumb, right? I was like, "Oh, I really want to watch that. I've never seen it." I know about Crumb, but not a lot, and I watched it and I was sick to my stomach by the end of it, which means it did a very good job. And I don't know, I have a love-hate relationship with Crumb because I do admire, I do admire when an artist puts it all out there and is like a scapegoat to society, but then I'm like, "Wow, you're crazy, and if you never drew, you'd probably be murdering women." So I'm gonna take this.”

“I'm gonna get True Stories because it's by David Byrne, and True Stories is so good, it's so funny. I'll get that.”

“I'm getting 24 Frames because I saw a video on Twitter of a cat watching 24 Frames.”

“I'm getting a Made in U. S. A. Godard and I have like jump cuts.”

“Man Bites Dog, oh that's good. Oh yeah, I heard that so many times. Yeah, that's a cool movie.”

“You know Sex, Lies, and Videotape? You ever heard about that? It was in a Kanye song. It's in "Jesus Walks," he references it, so you have to get it. No, oh, Kanye referenced that in 2005.”

“So I'm gonna finish this out with another J-film, Kurosawa, Ikiru, which means in Japanese "to live." And you know what, I try to get the other European directors, but like, you know, I just feel something when I see a lonely Japanese man on a swing.”

“I'm gonna get The Big Chill as my last movie because they just read the back and it seems interesting. He has a good job with that back of the film.”
