“But Down by Law is now here available as Blu-ray. I have to take it along. This is one of my all-time favorites. I start laughing when I see the cover. Who gives a f*****g fly, so to speak? Me? I do. I mean, I'm just quoting from the film, so I put that in the bag.”

“Oh, The 400 Blows as Blu-ray. Should I? Yes, I have to. I have to. One of my favorite all-time movies, I have to.”

“The Cameraman, Buster Keaton, Blu-ray. It's another one of those. I would steal it.”

“Kagemusha in Blu-ray. I cannot resist this. I mean, Kurosawa is just such a master and if ever you make a movie and you have rain or snow or anything, just don't do it before you see all of the Kurosawas and study and read how he produced weather. And then you can go and make a movie with rain. But just don't do it without consulting Kurosawa.”

“Wanda, I can't believe it. This, this is one of the greatest films in history. This is a film that only a woman could have made. And it's a great movie and it's absolutely, it's a must. If people just know what they're doing, they should get Wanda.”

“There is Until the End of the World in my director's cut, the long version. I always think this is maybe the best thing I've done in my life. But then again, who am I to judge?”

You can take Au Hasard Balthazar, but this is holy territory of filmmaking. Yes, greed is striking again, taking Mouchette and Balthazar in Blu-ray. I have Balthazar as DVD. Of course I have it. I had it as VHS. Now I'm getting away with it for the third time.”

“Yes, greed is striking again, taking Mouchette and Balthazar in Blu-ray.”

“I'm overwhelmed. I remember I, last time I took Ozu, of course, everything I could get my hands on and I took this one and have that at home, so I'm not gonna take it again. Story of Floating Weeds and Floating Weeds. His film from 1934, the silent and the remake in '59, one of the most beautiful possible double bills in film history.”

“I'm trembling because I know this exists, but it didn't hold it in my hand is The Complete Jacques Tati. These are the films of his life. This is what he died for. Literally went bankrupt for. They're the shots. Good. I haven't seen them. Mon Oncle Blu-Ray. I would spend Christmas watching all these movies. So my Christmas time begins Now...”
